TERMS OF SERVICE
Arborist Crew Services Effective Date: April 20, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the services or website of Arborist Crew Services (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a service, making a payment, or using our website at arboristcrewservices.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
Arborist Crew Services provides professional tree care and plant health services in Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and Santa Barbara County, California. Services include but are not limited to:
- Tree trimming and shaping
- Tree removal
- Stump grinding
- Deep root fertilization
- Plant Health Care Programs including spray fertilization, pest and disease treatment, and ongoing landscape health maintenance for trees, shrubs, and lawns
All services are subject to availability and a site assessment where applicable. The Company reserves the right to decline any job that presents unreasonable safety risks or falls outside our service area or capabilities.
2. Estimates and Quotes
Estimates provided by the Company are based on information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may be adjusted if site conditions differ materially from what was represented at the time of the estimate, if additional work is identified once service has begun, or if scope changes are requested by the client. Any material changes to scope will be communicated and agreed upon before additional work proceeds.
3. Deposit and Payment Terms
Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total quoted price is required to confirm and schedule your service appointment. Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit is received. Deposits may be paid by credit card, debit card, check, or other methods accepted by the Company at the time of booking.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service, before the crew departs the property. For recurring Plant Health Care Program clients, payment terms will be specified in your service agreement.
Accepted Payment Methods: Credit card, debit card, check, and other methods as offered at the time of service.
Late Payment: Invoices not paid within 15 days of the due date are subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) on the outstanding balance. The Company reserves the right to suspend or discontinue service for accounts with outstanding balances.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Client Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty with at least 48 hours advance notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made on the day of service or after the crew has arrived at the property will be charged the full quoted amount.
Plant Health Care Program Cancellations: Clients enrolled in a monthly or recurring Plant Health Care Program may cancel their program with 30 days written notice. Cancellations mid-cycle will be billed for the current service period in full. No partial-month refunds will be issued.
Company Cancellations: The Company reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will provide as much advance notice as possible and reschedule at no additional cost to the client.
5. Access to Property
By scheduling a service, you represent that you have the legal authority to authorize work on the property. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area on the scheduled service date. If the crew is unable to access the property at the scheduled time due to locked gates, animals, or other client-controllable conditions, the appointment may be treated as a same-day cancellation and the deposit forfeited.
The Company is not responsible for damage to underground utilities, irrigation systems, hardscape, or other property features that were not disclosed prior to the service date. We strongly recommend that you mark or identify any known underground utilities or irrigation lines before work begins.
6. Satisfaction and Disputes
The Company takes pride in delivering quality work. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service provided, you must notify us in writing within 5 business days of service completion. We will make reasonable efforts to address legitimate concerns. Claims submitted after this window may not be eligible for remedy.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, the Company’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
The Company carries general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage as required by California law. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
8. Plant Health Care Program — Additional Terms
Clients enrolled in the Plant Health Care Program acknowledge that results may vary based on plant species, existing health conditions, soil quality, weather, and other environmental factors outside the Company’s control. The Company makes no guarantee of specific outcomes but commits to applying treatments in accordance with label instructions and California pesticide regulations.
All treatments are performed by or under the supervision of a California Qualified Applicator. Treatment records are maintained and available to clients upon request.
9. California Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our services that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Ventura County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where appropriate.
10. Changes to These Terms
The Company reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of our services following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
